We are proud to be the Midlands leading centre for advanced blood analysis testing with Functional DX.
Functional DX is a blood test that helps identify hidden health trends that aren’t identified in standard NHS blood testing. The Functional DX approach is to identify the root cause of symptoms, and use a functional approach to rebalance and restore health.
The test assesses 81 Functional Items in the body across the 13 Body Systems, 7 Accessory Systems, 7 Macronutrient Systems, 14 Nutrient Deficiencies, and 40 Clinical Dysfunctions.
It pinpoints imbalances, and identifies an algorithm of you as an individual and how your body is functioning.
Using a test such as Functional DX allows us to create a plan that is targeted, effective and removes the guesswork as to what the best course of action is for you and your health. Click here to view a sample report
How does it work?
1. Once the test is purchased, you will receive a test kit in the post.
2. Your practitioner will provide you with details of where to book in with a private health care phlebotomist.
3. Hand your test kit to the phlebotomist at your appointment.
4. On the same day as your appointment, you will send your blood sample off to the lab via Royal Mail (postage is prepaid)
5. Test results will be sent to your practitioner within 7-10 days
6. Your results will be interpreted back to you in a consultation with your practitioner, and a plan to go forward will be discussed.
